The KK girl came out with such a treat this day...some fine grass hay from my former stable. it was sweet smelling and tasting...she made sure to place it where I could push it safely to the left (and it would NOT go into the poop spot) then I sort for the best peices.......

I also share with my brother THEO too!

Then my KK girl was crunching something happily as well, she decided to share with ME!!

My KK girl gave me a great treat for Valentine's...

an all-Out-time of my own. I flew like the wind and she did giggle a bit up there, as she flew with me!

Sometimes these humans really get it...for me being born to go like that...it makes me the happiest TB mare ever!

My KK girl finally came out...I did not mind too much this funky hat thing...it was after a wonderful ride.

As my KK girl takes me out and about this Autumn, sometimes we meet a day that warms us and lends us color.

I personally, snort and stomp, am a thankful mare...for the latter!

Even though it was my first day..somewhere new...it was quiet, and my KK girl kept coming out of the big RED BARN with apples for me...I was able to relax and just put my head down....graze.

Might be an alright place~we'll see, it has an arena.........

Just before the Autumn

The KK girl and I have not been out and about riding for some time...

She has been around, but I have not been feeling too well...My lead mare Pantz and I have been stalked for a few weeks. We ran from a BAD SMELL, Dumping KK girl in the dirt..2 weeks ago...and I got my self hurt, I was so scared and we had to run home to the barn without KK . I hit the road running and darn if there is NO GOOD FOOTING on pavement.

I fell hard...KK girl had to have the VET dude out the next day...I felt woosy for a week or so after that. I still am not able to roll very well.

====THEN====

I almost lost my life (MY TAKE) to a Wild Cat that chased Pantz

mare and I around all night, a week ago. It got so

close to me, and Clawed at me...I got a good kick to it though!

My KK girl found us in the field... we were pretty worn out. She made a wretching noise as she looked me over...I think she may have felt the way I did about what happened the night before.

She took care of us mares in the barn and runs...keeping us away from the fields,

for days and days...sweet hay and other nibbles, all day long...for sooo long! I did not mind being in so much.

We finally got to go out again. I was unsure, the barn mom took me out outside on the 7th day- not KK girl...I SAW SOMETHING SHE DID NOT...So I tried to flee..she held onto me though, so I couldn't run back into the barn.

Everything seems to be right now,we come in every night.... I feel safe again.

KK girl and KB(my first mom) have been taking us out a little bit, of

late...

My KK girl tells m e there are good things instore soon...

I have my Lead mare Pantz, staying with me in the field...we also had some human/horse commotions going on in the field over!

I lead the canter over to see and also....

Make sure they could see that we too had something to offer visually....

. . . . . Snort and sigh....so I took a walk down the hill, below the trees.... I am NOT done eating my grassy delights just yet...I will go the furthest from where I saw that KK girl, and see if she can figure out where I am...maybe she'll decide not to take the walk- to the furthest part of the turn out- and go back with out me?!

I feel eyes upon me...yet.... I am sticking to the plan, the greens are so good!

Really......REALLY.... REALLY, wanting some summer sun and warmth about now...!!! With a month of rain, and grey...instead of spring....I am going NUTS! I am kept inside my stall with run, instead of out in the grasses...but, I do hate the wind and rain as it has been..no where to take cover.

I guess I can dream and remember the times with my girl and my sweet Mustang Cazi boyfriend!...as seen here!

WHAT are they thinking these two human girls??!!! I mean, we just escaped and Elk attack(sighting) and they want us to stand here, with our backs to those creatures, lurking there still, for a SUNSET photo!
We did our darn est to flee and now this attempt to make us submit to their whims...come on girls, we are looking after you by running like the wind in evasive moves...and you put us in harms way making us stand with our backs to those dangerious things!

LOGS! Nasty things!

My KK girl and I went for a ride the other day...and it was most unusual...we were warm and comfy and then it started to snow, I was fit to be tied...getting all pounded with this snowballish stuff...then...holy crap...LOGS!

These are the worst things that man has come up with..I mean, look at em...all stacked up and ready to pounce on me! I stopped dead in my tracks! KK girl told me it was okay...only after she peeled a bit of laughter out of her body...I could feel her jiggling and doing her girl snorts up on me...so I decided to move away from them...oop- a leg stopped me...so tried the other direction-definitely AWAY from those evil LOGS!

Well, she eventually got me to put my nose on the end one...but only after I tested her resolve. Then, she got all happy with me and I just don't get it! She says it's" the recovery that counts"...um..I would rather not have to recover but go my own way, thank you!

I wanted to say "WHOA KK GIRL"... that blame hill ( and this is the halfway point) is NOT for me...but then, she popped off my back and walked the while thing ahead of me. Sometimes she would hold onto the stirrup and I thought I would go sideways when she put her weight there...but she quickly reminded me...I weigh more- and can compensate!

When we reached the top of this very long, steep hill...I did not mind this time- that she pointed the black box at me for so long...I needed to rest! And..the other good news....she walked down that incredibly steep hill too, and spared my back!

My girl took me to another new area to ride...though, I know I have been here before. I liked the soft sand footing and the fact that my lead mare Pantz was with me too! I decided to perk up for the photo. Normally I hate these frequent stop times for silly photo's!

I followed Pantz mare all through these woods this day, and then went on home for hay and oats with my visiting mare beside me in the stall next door. A good day!

My KK girl and sister took Pantz and I on a small trailer trip...we ended up getting out of the trailer to eat grass for 35 minutes then...I don't remeber much after that!

At least Pantz was there with me ! We got a few days to roll and get extra muddy in the fields and lots of attention...that was nice...along with

that touchy/ feely person coming. She makes us feel sooo good! That was worth what we went through.

I enjoyed watching Pantz get her massage, as well
. So very nice to have my Lead mare here!

My KK girl showed up to see me, finally. Some times she is away for long periods of time...I was HOT and no one noticed me sweating under my blanket and she clearly was shocked when she took it off me to find wavy wet hair. She fondled me and coo'd over me and I was in no-mood for it truly. Why did she have me standing on the gravel? I hate the gravel. She bruched me all over and braided my entire mane. I decided to calm down and eat some hat she provided for me. Then she tacked me up and we headed out down the road with all my hooves booted up...I was kicking my left hind to tell her something, before we left, but she did not do anything about it.

I did not want to go out..she made me go. But, I noticed, she was leaning and peering behind me the whole time we were walking down the road. Then, she suddenly got off and walked with me...I was glad too...I was really sore on my left hind and now,she was able to see it clearly. I heard her make a call to my therapist. She does do right by me.
YEA! We headed back to the barn, very soon after we had left it...fine-o-dandy by me!

She then washed cold water on my sore leg..I did not mind this as she allowed me to graze the whole time. Then she put some puffy wraps on my hind legs and put another bag of fluffy inedible pellets on my stall floor... gave me some black licorice...she'd have one then I would...I like this game alot!

I heard her telling me that she'd be back in the morning...good...more treats and maybe a massage too!

I think my KK girl loves me.

My girl KK brought my favorite Mustang to ride with me the other day. NICKERING NIEGH!

I was very pleased to see him and frequently reached out to lick, and even bite him- lovingly...he acted as if he did not recognise me-at first- when I did this thing.

Every time I reached out to touch him...our rider girls sang this song to us..."I want you...I want you so baad babe. I want you, I want you so bad, it's driving me mad ,it's driving me mad!"
NICKER, made me feel warm and fuzzy...since they chose to take us out on the coldest day of the year so far...17 degrees-WITH wind!

What were they thinnking????!!!!

My KK girl came out to see me today...I was happily eating hay with Romeo and I thought maybe I could walk away from her but- she does this thing-she pats her leg loudly..and I think she may be able to reach my hind end, so I turned and faced her. I then saw the apple in her hand, I had to go smell and taste it...that was nice!

She really surprised me today...she put a new wool blanket on me, telling me, "This won't slip, going down the hills"...guess we shall find out.

We headed out a different direction..boy am I THANKFUL for that!

OUUU...my KK girl noticed my slight apprehension in some of the woods we ride in...she saw evidence of what I have been smelling there!!! BEARS!

Look at this log...ripped up by a bear looking for tastey bugs(how can those be food??)

She was leaning over alot...bugged me too...I would slow down, thinking she was coming off me or something.

Click ,click, click..she was leaning and doing this!

And also gasping ..saying something like, I pray we never run into this Bear!"

After a realxing and very loose- reined- ride -WITHOUT A BIT..I am sooo thankful..

I love it when she takes me out without a bit...I could feel the trust..and I trusted her too more..going down hills..no bit to hit if I got nervious, and also..the saddle did stay in place!

AND, here is the most thankful part about it...when we got home...she got right off, and let me eat for the longest time...with the bridle ON!

I love this "Lead Girl" of mine! While I am not fond of trailering alone, I do it for her, if she askes. She does love new trails and sights...we are well matched this way. I can get sour to the same-ol' same-ol' sights and trails.And I won't EVEN go there with arenas now! I am really glad she is aware of this...I may have told her a couple times this past summer, to get the point across!

My girl KK, does this thing all the time while we ride...she snaps photo's, and while it feels nice to be relaxed and walk on without much being asked...sometimes she requires me to stand still at the most inappropriate times; letting others pass us by and get ahead. That just does not go over with this mare too well. I make sure to tell her about it, and she surely knows- I love to catch up. I guess there is no harm.

My KK took me to the beach recently and this is a video of her walking with me. She adores me and often films me doing normal activities...like walking! Beach sand is my favorite to ride on..it is soft and does not hurt my tender, unshod toes. I dislike the hoof boot application, though I stand well for it, even when the silly boots twist, I allow my girl to adjust them for my comfort. I know she hates to use them and only does it for me, so I may be a natural horse, without shoes. I had shoes once for about 6 weeks, when I was 3 or 4..that was along time ago and my first "Lead Girl" , KK's older siss, taught me to stand for the shoer.

She is a fun to have be my "Lead Girl", KK girl, though she really tests me at times for patience, with this photo taking (then she says, "I have tested HER"!) get that!
